Aishwarya Raj Bhakuni, who has been a part of movies like Prithviraj Chauhan and Pride, among others, and TV shows such as Shrimad Ramayan, Vighnaharta Ganesha, Gupta Brothers, and Tenali Rama, has joined the cast of Jai Veer Hanuman. She had the opportunity to visit the Maha Kumbh this year and shared that it was a very enlightening and enriching experience for her.
Aishwarya Raj Bhakuni said, “Visiting Mahakumbh at Prayagraj this year was an incredibly profound and transformative experience. The moment I stepped onto the sacred land, I could feel an intense surge of positivity, purity, and divine vibrations. It was as if the very air was charged with spiritual energy, making it impossible not to feel connected to something much larger than myself. Devotees from every corner of the country, and even from different parts of the world, had gathered here with utmost devotion.”
Aishwarya Raj Bhakuni shared that one of the most fascinating aspects of her visit was meeting foreigners who had been fasting for 30 to 40 days as part of their spiritual journey. She said, “It was remarkable to witness their dedication and faith. This experience reinforced my belief that if one truly wants to understand the essence of India and its deep-rooted spiritual heritage, there is no better place than Mahakumbh. Here, you get the opportunity to witness the presence of Naga Sadhus, revered Siddh Gurus, and Aghori Babas. Walking on the same soil as these ascetics and taking a dip in the sacred Triveni Sangam, where they, too, have bathed, was an experience beyond words. For three days, I was completely mesmerised by the divine atmosphere.”

Talking about the Maha Kumbh in detail, she further shared that it was extraordinary because it aligned with a rare celestial configuration that occurs only once in 144 years. “It is believed that taking a dip in the Triveni Sangam during this time amplifies one’s spiritual power, purifies the aura, and brings immense spiritual benefits. The moment I realised that I might never get another opportunity like this in my lifetime, I knew I had to be there. Without hesitation, I decided to embark on this journey and take a holy dip in the Triveni Sangam. This journey was even more special because my entire family joined me. We stayed in a tent, fully immersing ourselves in the spiritual experience. Together, we chanted bhajans, meditated, and performed rituals. Taking the holy dip as a family was not just a religious practice; it became a cherished memory. The main thought behind this pilgrimage was personal transformation. I wanted my dip in the Triveni Sangam to symbolise a rebirth—a moment where I could emerge as a better, more evolved version of myself. It is said that meditating on such sacred land yields a hundredfold benefit, and I truly experienced this shift within me. The spiritual energy of the place had a profound impact on my mind and soul, changing my perspective on many things,” she added.

Aishwarya also confessed that the energy at Mahakumbh was incredibly high—so much so that she constantly felt a sense of light-headedness. She added, “It was almost as if I was in a deep meditative state throughout. The land where our tent was set up was particularly significant. During the monsoon months of June and July, this very spot is submerged under nearly ten feet of water from the Ganga.”
