Social activist and spiritual seeker Harsha Richhariya is having the time of her life at the Maha Kumbh. Due to a rare planetary alignment of the Moon, Sun, Mercury, and Jupiter, this Maha Kumbh is happening after 144 years and is considered to be one of the biggest and largest gatherings of Hindus or those who are believers of the Sanatan Dharam.
For the unversed, this year India is celebrating the Maha Kumbh, which happens every 144 years, while the Kumbh Mela is celebrated every 12 years. Harsha Richhariya said, “The Kumbh Mela is not just a large gathering of people. Kumbh Mela is still small when compared to the Mahakumbh. But whosoever comes here, their intention is to only participate in the shahi snan. It is said that even gods descend from heaven to participate in the Kumbh Mela.”

Sharing her experience, which she confessed is unlike any spiritual encounters she had, Harsha Richhariya said, “I can’t describe it in words. Personally, I am getting stronger and better, and I am learning lots of things. I got this opportunity to know Sanatan Dharma and its Sanskriti in a better way after coming to the Mahakumbh. This is the biggest maha event for sanatanis because it came after 144 years. It means that you will only get to witness it once in a lifetime. I got to know more about our dharm gurus, Sanatani culture, and rituals in a good way by coming here.”

A believer, promoter, and supporter of the sanatan dharam, Harsha Richhariya shared that she has been encouraging people to attend the Maha Kumbh, and now that she is experiencing it herself, she calls it life-changing. Talking more about the spiritual events there, Harsha shared that she met a lot of dharam gurus, along with spiritual leaders, acharyas, and saints. She added, “A lot of things have happened to me too here, and all this had a good as well as a bad impact on me. The spiritual leaders and gurus are very positive, and they stood by me like a shield.”
