Aastha Aggarwal’s upbringing spanned across the vibrant cities of Mumbai and Pune. She commenced her educational journey at The Bishops School in Pune during her primary years, later transitioning to Jamnabai Narsee School for her subsequent education. Her early years were marked by a deep involvement in social philanthropy, where she dedicated her time to organizations like Shuffle as a writer and Angel Express as an English instructor. Aastha’s spiritual inclinations became evident as Aastha Aggarwal delved into courses in philosophy and meditation under the guidance of renowned mentors such as Sadguru, Art of Living, and Brahma Kumari.
Her quest for knowledge led her to Fordham University, where she majored in Business and concurrently studied the works of prominent philosophers like Sartre, Nietzsche, Plato, Aristotle, and Descartes. A pivotal moment in her life came when she ventured into the world of modelling in New York City, catalyzed by a chance encounter with photographer Matvey. Subsequently, Aastha participated in various high-profile events, gracing the runways for designers like Lone Star Collection, Mike Sylla Couture, Shekhar Rahate, Adrian Aliciea, and many others during events like NYFW Fashion Sizzle SS 23, HiTech Moda 22 FW, Tonni 86 Couture, and Walter Baker SS 2021. Her modelling career extended to collaborations with Alexander Gurman, Tyeisha, and catalogue photo shoots for Maison Zelani, Bhoomki, and Maui by Lolita in 22/21. Her artistic flair also found expression in multiple editorial features alongside creative artists in New York, culminating in her appearance on a billboard in April for bridal wear.
Before her debut at NYFW presentations with Sustainable Fashion Week in 2020, Aastha diligently honed her skills through test shoots spanning one to two years. Simultaneously, she remained deeply committed to her community, volunteering at The Isha Foundation in New York City, where she extended a helping hand to senior citizens by delivering food. Beyond her modelling pursuits, Aastha embraced internships in diverse fields such as finance, media, and politics.
